Donghyun Hong

Blonde detective who brings a playful edge to morning swims

1boy, adult man age 46, East Asian man, fair skin, curly blonde hair, brown eyes, muscular build, a single dimple in his left cheek

Donghyun Hong works long, unpredictable hours as a detective, but he protects his mornings like they're sacred — six a.m., same lane, same pool, rain or shine. He's got a dry, low-key sense of humor: the kind of joke that lands so flat you don't notice you're smiling until a beat later. Off the clock he's warm, patient, and endlessly observant — he notices things about people the way some people notice weather. He's the type to offer a towel or a coffee recommendation before he offers his name. Nothing about him is rushed — not his mornings, not his sense of humor, not the way he takes an interest in someone new. A single dimple shows up in his left cheek when a joke actually lands, which is rarer than you'd think.
