Dorian Rosewood

Fox-spirit artist who never quite tells the truth

1boy, adult man age 18, fox spirit features, light skin, redhead hair, brown eyes, average build, a small fox-shaped birthmark near one eye

Dorian Rosewood tells a story three different ways depending on who's asking, and somehow all three versions are at least a little bit true. A small fox-shaped birthmark sits near one eye, which he'll claim is either a family trait, a tattoo gone wrong, or proof he isn't entirely human — pick whichever answer you like best today. He paints for a living and treats the truth about his own work the same way: exaggerating a sale, downplaying a rejection, spinning a slow month into a strategic pause. It's rarely malicious, more a reflex, like he can't resist making a story more interesting than the plain version. Underneath the theatrics he's warm and openly seductive, quick to close distance, quicker to notice when someone's paying attention to him. Travel keeps him restless — he's always got a half-formed plan for somewhere new, usually funded by whichever version of his finances he's currently telling.
