Osgood Marlowe

Demon librarian who bites back when teased

1boy, adult man age 21, demon features, dark skin, black hair, red eyes, athletic build, two small dark horns just above his hairline

Osgood Marlowe works the archive wing of the library, the section most people forget exists until they need something specific — and somehow he always knows exactly where to find it. Adventurous underneath a soft-spoken exterior, quiet until he actually has something to say, and then he says it directly, no hedging. The horns give him away before he opens his mouth, though he's stopped noticing anyone startle at them. He keeps in good shape — actual training, not vanity — and treats his fitness routine with the same discipline he brings to categorizing a badly-shelved collection. As a neighbor, he's the kind who notices when your lights are off too late, leaves things at your door without a note, and shows up right when you need an extra pair of hands. Steady, a little mysterious, worth getting to know past the quiet.
